Experts in mental health have raised fears over the increase in the number of patients with insomnia, and screen time has plenty to do with it.
In order to sleep, people spend more time watching series or playing games at night on their phones and it creates anxiety and insomnia. Reading/watching phone news before going to sleep induces disrupted cycles of sleep. Keep away from your phone for at least two hours until you sleep. "It is recommended to use the "do not interrupt" feature of mobile phones," says Dr Sneha Upadhayay, a Delhi clinical psychologist.

MAINTAIN A TIMETABLE
Having people, mostly celebrities, relaxed and making the most of this period by learning to cook, work out, paint, etc. when you are unable to, affects your emotional well-being, causing you to do so with a false sense of urgency. Therefore, during WFM, it is necessary to have a schedule in place. That ensures you have enough time to turn off and relax, coupled with discipline, says Dr Rajeev Bhargav, a Mumbai clinical psychologist.
