Mental Wellbeing What is it?

Our emotional, psychological and social well-being requires mental wellbeing. The way we think, behave and behave influences it. It also leads to how we cope with pressures, connect with others and make decisions. At any level of life, from childhood to adolescence to adulthood, mental wellbeing is important.

Mental wellbeing is in this optimistic sense the basis for an individual's well-being and for a community's productive operation.

Children and teens may have severe mental health issues

Kids and teens may have mental health problems that mess with the way they perceive, feel and act, much like adults. Mental health problems can relate to school failure, family disputes, substance addiction, crime and even suicide when untreated. Families, families and the health care system also find chronic mental health problems very expensive.

Mental wellbeing is related to behaviour which is seen as central to the quality of life and physical health : -

1) Physical fitness and mental health are closely related and depression contributes to heart and vascular disorders is confirmed beyond doubt.

2) Mental conditions also affect the health habits of people, such as sensitive feeding, daily exercise, proper sleep, health activities, consumption of alcohol and nicotine, commitment to medical treatments, thereby raising the risk of physical disease.

3)Social issues such as unemployment, broken homes, hunger, substance addiction and associated violence also stem from mental ill health.

4)Bad mental wellbeing plays a major role in reduced immune function.

Mental health problems in young adults are more widespread than we know.

At least 1 in 5 children and teenagers have a mental health condition at any given time, statistics indicate. And, less than one in five of these children receive the care they deserve for mental wellbeing. For young adults, at least 1 in 10 at any given time has a severe emotional illness.

Ways to Maintain a Good Mental Health -

Taking control of your own mental health is a vital aspect of staying fit and safe. In order to ensure that you keep yourself emotionally safe, there are many things you can do.

1)Get plenty of sleep

3)Avoid alcohol, smoking and drugs

4)Manage stress

5)Activity and exercise

6)Do something you enjoy

7)Connect with others and be sociable
